Campers

Research tells us kids should avoid sport specialization before the age of 12. Our experts and team sport science staff couldn’t agree more. With that in mind, Playground Pros offers a wide range of learning techniques in four different sports for kids to ignite a lifelong passion for sport. We aim to create a diverse, inclusive and safe environment for every Playground Pro camper.

"We’ve taken great care in designing a program that makes it easy to fall in love with sport."

Playground Pros is tailored for kids between the ages of 6 and 10.

IMPORTANT: Your player must be 6 years old (as of July 1st, 2019) to 10 years old (as of December 31st, 2019).

Unfortunately, due to the high demand of Playground Pros camps, we are unable to provide exceptions to this parameter for any reason.

We want your young athlete to be prepared for their first day of camp. To help you prepare, we’ve pulled together a quick checklist that may be reviewed.

Medical Information

Does your child have any medical conditions or allergies we should know about?

Playground Pros is committed to creating the safest environment possible for every camper. If your child has any medical conditions, allergies or physical limitations, it is extremely important that it is clearly communicated to us on our medical form, which will be provided during registration.

If your child has any life-threatening allergies, we require they come to camp with an EpiPen to assure we can offer the best possible care for them. Our staff will work closely with you and your child to ensure all medical needs are up to date and reviewed.

YOUR CHILD’S SAFTEY IS PARAMOUNT. Every Playground Pros camp has staff members on hand that are experienced in working with children on a daily basis. With a camper to coach ratio of 9:1, you can have confidence we will be continually monitoring the safety of your child. Each camp will be fully equipped with a medical kit in the event of small injuries. No matter the situation, we have an emergency action plan in place to ensure the proper steps are covered to effectively care for your child.

Should any medical condition be identified during the registration process, a Playground Pros staff member will be in touch with you directly prior to your child’s camp week. As always, we encourage you to connect with your on-site Camp Director during the week of camp with any questions or concerns.
